I'm looking to get an Elemental shaman OR should I go for a Hunter, everyone that has a hunter tells me they wish they didnt because they get so boring. =\

Why are you making one ? Farming ?
For farming hunter is the best...for pvp too.
For pve they are the same.
Gear is EASY to obtain as a hunter

It really depends on your playstyle. Elemental shaman will be more stand there and blow stuff up, spot heal, and debuff.
Hunter is generally more mobile, constantly running around trapping and possibly reassigning his pet targets.
Both classes have their challenges, hunters primarily dealing with trap placement, kiting, and pet utilization whereas shamans must deal with totem rotations and spot healing.
However, as stated previously both classes are almost identical in playstyle for pve.

Ele Shaman.
Hunters are EZ-Mode, and very repetitive.

Is there any reason you're limiting yourself to those two classes?
With classes such as a warlock you get the best of both worlds. They're easy and interesting to play.

Hunter IMHO. But they will get rather boring. But most classes do, anyway.

A good hunter can be godlike in arena, but there aren't really that many good hunters out there i guess ^_^

enhance shamansas well as most shamans will own face only problem is they are often the first target

Shaman, if you get bored of ranged u can go to melee or healing.

hunters are boring if you autoshoot and slide your thumb in your butt. If you know howto play a hunter they can be a lot of fun.

Ele shamans have some pretty beast on demand burst, but hunters have some big advantages such as MM viper sting is OP as shiit
