Looking to replace my current power supply (only 250W). My new Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb recommends at least a 300W, so...should I go with like a 450 to be safe? Higher?
Also, what brands/models are good? I have no idea when it comes to power supplies...
I have a HP Pavilion a367c computer, so it'd need to be compatible w/ that :P
any suggestions?

Thanks!
I tried the calc and came up with approx 331W recommended for my machine, so I'll probably end up with a 500 maybe. How much can I expect to pay for this?
I went to pricewatch and checked out their power supplies, but they are organized by price range, not make/model or wattage. I noticed some of the higher wattage power supplies are alot cheaper than some of the lower watted(is that a word?) power supplies. I'm guessing theres a reason ;p

I bought a TrueBlue Silent 550 power supply from CompUSA for $145, then ordered it off amazon.com for $89.00
when it came in, I 'returned' the amazon.com purchased one to CompUSA for a refund..
Thus I got what I wanted for $89.00 without waiting 11 days!
(Verify that the SKU's match up and life is good)
love,
Frashii
PS. Silent power supplies 100% rock.
