What kind of PvP in Age of Conan? What should I expect? Will I be satisfied if I am a casual player, or do I have to be a hard core player to enjoy player versus player mode of playing Age of Conan? I heard that this game is for beginners only and if I am a serious player then I should stay away from this game. Is this true?

This is not true at all. When I think about it a bit harder I can say that I have never heard a dumber thing in my whole online games career. Age of Conan is not for beginners, but it is a beginner friendly game. This is a kind of game that you can play if you are not very good in online games, but you can enjoy it even if you are an expert. That is why this game has a couple of levels and each player can find the level that suits him or her the best. You will enjoy player versus player mode in Age of Conan.

Not necessarily a PvP "mode" in Age of Conan. You are either on a ffa server or you aren't. There are also battlegrounds and the jist on both servers.

This is my thought on AoC pvp. The devs say it's different than any other game, which is true in a sense. Picture a normal MMO. You have a skill bar, you have to click on your target and be near it to attack(with melee for e.g). So your character plays an animation and attacks. In AoC you have to do the same thing but press 2-3 direction buttons in a sequence then press the skill on the skill bar. Your character will play an animation just like in any MMO. So you can't move forward or back while in a 'combo' just like in any other game. To me the devs have been hyping it up too much, i don't think it will catch on to be honest.
