I don't know about this week, but previous to my accounts getting banned I was able to use 3rd party tools to "mountain climb." They just kept you from ever losing altitude, so jumping and running forward got you over any nasty near-verticle areas.
With those 3rd party tools you could also warp anywhere you wanted though, so... I dunno why anyone would bother with mountain climing when they could just pop up anywhere.

I spent like 12 hours in winterspring/felwood/moonglade trying to get into the shatterspear troll area on my NE druid and then i read a post saying that NEs had the hardest time wallwalking into neat places and I just sort of curled up and went D:
