Hi! I found online community for games of The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. I loved the topics, screenshots, so I went to the store and bought the DVDs of this game. I installed it, played it, and joined the community I mentioned earlier. One user asked me to tell him my buddy key, and I don't know what that is? What is a buddy key? How do they work? Is that the retail product key?

Hi! No, retail product key is you key for the game, and buddy key is the 10-day trial key for one of your friends. You should give a friend the 10-Day buddy key that can be found on the same box as the retail product key. Then, loan him or her your DVDs of the game, or tell him or here where to download the game. During installation process he will be asked for buddy key. This key can be used only once, by one user only. After installation and creation of account he or she will be able to play The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar of free access for 10 days!
