A pile of socks, a pile of underwear (which is pretty much the only thing I asked anyone for), a couple nice pairs of khakis, a few boxes of chocolate covered cherries, a couple bags of beef jerky, a new chair, a new processor, more ram (that doesn't work, f**k you win98), a can of chicory coffee, a box of french doughnut mix, uhh, some new headphones for my computer (nice ones), a new pocketknife, a neato little toolkit with needlenose pliers screwdrivers and some other stuff for working inside your computer, and a pocket flashlight for computer work too.
Oh, and I gave myself a copy of The Silmarillion by Tolkien.

Well I've got to hand it to my mom and stepdad, they usually just shower me with hundreds of dollars worth of clothes. But this year they got me a new PC
Kinda wish they would have consulted me first so I could have told them what exactly to get, but its still better than my old PC.
Old PC:
Dell
866mhz P3
384 ram
GEForce2 64mb vid card
30gig hard drive
old ass bulky 17" moniter
NEW PC:
Hewlett Packard
2.8ghz P4
512 RAM
some s****y intel extreme graphics 64mb vid card, probably going to swap it out from the older PC
160 gig hard drive (ill never have to delete porn to make room again!!)
17" flat panel hp pavilion f1703 moniter

I would have gone with a Dell if I could have chosen. But if I was PAYING for it, I would have built my own.
On a serious note...what exactly sucks so much about HP's? I've always had Dell computers............

I got a few hundred dollars, a new jacket from my grandmother (I own like nine winter jackets now), a little digital camera, lots of clothes, The guinness book of world records 2004 (for the fourth year in a row, why???), a new TV, a TV stand, TTT extended DVD, and a copy of Michael Moore's 'Dude, Where's My Country?" I think Michael Moore is the liberal Ann Coulter. Not sure if that's good or bad, probably bad.

My old computer broke less than a year ago, so I had to buy a new one. Didn't have much cash to fork out so I payed $800 for a HP:
2.6ghz
1 gig of ram
Geforce MX 420 64MB
60 gig hard drive.
I honestly cannot point out anything really bad about it. It runs fast, as fast as my friends Dell with the same stats, except he has 512 RAM. I have yet to have any critical errors, or had to reformat my HD..
ONLY problem I have is my damn power button spring broke so it gets stuck sometimes
