what's up guys,I've been looking to get a new CPU...people have recommended me getting a dual athlon CPU, So I'm looking around for one of those.
Anybody give me some recommended dual athlon computer specs?
I have a good $500 budget, it's not much - but I can look around and I'm sure I can get something...

Buy.com features a athlon-x2 computer every once in a while with great specs and price if you don't mind a refurb...

Nooo, go Intel! The Core 2s are coming down in price so much now! Especially the Q6600! Mine's running at 3.6Ghz on air, prime stable etc.. You should be able to get one of those chips for ~£100 these days. I know the retailers over here are starting to sell them for around about that price.
