I had the similar problems when I was starting to play Guild Wars. It is always so hard to choose one race, and then to play with it in new game. I had big problems with that, but I was successful. As you, I have asked for help, but I got very little advice. Hunter character is indeed great one, but it is very hard to pick one race out for it. It has some awesome characteristics, and the battle from distance is him main attack. It must be your personal choice. We cannot tell you which one to choose. You must know every race in the game, and then to find as much as you can about them. After that, you will be able to pick one race out and play this game the best way possible.
