I rolled out of bed this morning. It was difficult to get out of bed; it felt like I was pasted on to the mattress. I stepped outside and felt the cool breeze hit my warm body. I looked at the sky and it was a light orange-red mixed in with the cool color of blue. The stratus clouds seemed to be in confusion because they were scattered out all over the horizon with the sun sneaking out from behind.. We take so many things for granted in life and one of them is nature....

...and after witnessing this glorious display of Nature's beauty, I knew what I needed to do...

Heh, good point.
Fortunately, my office has a big window, and is on the top floor of a building set on top of a hill, so I can see to the horizon. Except that here it's cloudy, damp and depressing, so I guess it all evens out.
Except I'm watching this hawk that always hangs out in the tree right outside my window, about the same level as me 30 yards away or so, so that's sort of cool.

The other day the postman left me some mail. One of these peices of mail was my pension check, the other was a big fat tax return. All these checks are made out of paper. All the paper comes from dead trees.
I thank nature for all the beautiful trees.
