I have been out of a game for some time. I am coming back now, but I want an advice about server choice – I know that population figures often change, so what it today the best selection? Which server should I connect to? Is there some list of servers with stats?

That’s about just what I wanted to recommend you. Visit this great site: http://www.ffxiah.com/. It is the Final Fantasy XI auction house so you can see how’s the economy in the game, on different servers. For now, it seems that the best selection is Bahamut, but Ragnarok is not bad, either.
