If they're into arena, just take any of the popular setups.

Rogue/(S)Priest
Druid/Warrior
Mage/Rogue
etc

But imo, they should both just play what they want to play, even if it's the same class.

whatever the 2 want to do...let em try each class and whichever one they like the best then that will be their pair of toons...because when you get to a 70 you get into a guidl and you get teamed with different people so they may not even do arenas together and all that

Tank/Healer imo. Warrior or bear Druid for the tank, Priest Shaman or Paladin for the healer. You guys will be able to quest endlessly without dying and will form the base for easy 5-man group finding for dungeons.

Druid/Paladin is the best choice imo.

Druid/Warlock
Druid can tank/heal/Dps and Warlock can fear what ever comes to him.

depends on what you want to do. If you want to farm I think Warrior and Druid is great right now. Or Mage and Healer for aoe farming.
