Repeal all the tax cuts (good start)... then spend it all on more programs? Someone please give us politicians that have a clue.
Lou Dobbs a couple nights ago was awesome. He asked a question which, paraphrased, was "Do you believe the politicians in Washington, D.C., are working on the issues which are important to Americans?"
98% of the people who responded said "No."
Even Dobbs was stunned.

The ONLY reason clinton generated a surplus was by cutting our military (in both budget and personell) by enormous amounts. If I didn't make my mortgage payment or buy food, I'd have a personal surplus too! While its an undeniable fact. that doesn't make it the smart thing to do!

seriously the tax system is already really top heavy, forcing all the big companies to pay for all the stuff means if something really bad happens (like a big crash) the government would pretty much topple from lack of funding.
Bushs tax cuts are good and the trickle down theory works well, i would rather have companies expanding and hiring more people because they arent taxed so heavily who work hard and make money than a system where we just pay out welfare or give tax cuts to poor people who are to lazy to work hard already.
