Is beheading them worse than driving a car bomb into a crowd of children?
Or shooting police officers on patrol?
Or executing 50 unarmed soldiers by shooting them in the back of the head?
Not really, its just more personal.
The terrorists have been killing other iraqis since the invasion ended.
As far as beheadings they are not that unusual in human history. During the japanese 'rape of china' invasion in the early part of WWII thousands upon thousands of chinese were beheaded to raise the 'fighting spirit' of the japanese soldiers. Just at random.. grab some chinese, chop a few heads off.
