I was trying to print screen on a scene in Gangs of New York. Guess what, you can't. for a movie file, the image will change to whatever is playing at that moment. if the file is closed, its a black screen. I tried all sorts of things, including playing on other media players, but nothing works. this bugged the hell out of me. makes you wonder whats the point in doing it

The method that i do is(dont know of any others or if there are any)
hit print screen then open paint and click paste.
Or are you refering to totally different operation?

Golly guys! why, i NEVER would have thought to prnt scrn and then paste into an image program, fucktards.
try it for yourself and see what happens. its actually kinda cool, the movie plays from within the image program. even if you were to pause, and then save the image. once the movie is closed, the image goes to a black screen.
