They had a bit about the end of WW2, specifically the drive to finish the war with Japan. After all was said and done, they were talking about the US occupation of Japan after they surrendered. In the terms there, they had like 6-7 years of US rule as a new government was established there. Instead of fighting America, like the insurgents in Iraq, the Japanese realized that they need to rebuild their infrastructure and understood what America was doing for them. They embraced America and after pouring in 2billion dollars, back then, the US completed it's promise to help the Japanese rebuild their country. Now Japan is one of the world's economic leaders.
If only Iraq would see that.

They never will see it to its full extent like the japanese, but I do believe things will stabilize enought to where they can govern their own people under democracy and fight their own terrorists. These people lack the pride and ambition to be free that most of the world has pre-born in them already. Some would argue that we shouldn't be there for that exact reason but I think just the opposite. If people have never known freedom then why should we leave that curse to fall upon generation to generation? Sure the duty isn't our responsibility but this world doesn't have room for extreme dictatorships or extreme religions anymore. What we have to realize is the long term benefits and new alliance this would create for us in the middle east. But its not gonna be done by tuesday folks. Its going to take time just like japan did.

obviously frax knows how to google or has taken a comparative politics course.
Starks however has not, and also proved that he cannot use google to simply search if his blind statement is actually true or not
