mortal strike nerfed.. totally needed.. that shit was dumb over powered

alot of skills usable in all stance (including mortal strike)

taunt got nerfed.. in my opinion... cause now when theres more than 1 mob... that 10 sec refresh is gonna get priests killed =P they gonna have to fix that....

defense stance got a boost in that armor and shields have shit loads of AC, so the %age based ac per item increase that defense gave is mroe useful.... defense needed this boost

fury tree changed around a lil bit...

basically... before patch... going anything other than arms tree straight to mortal strike was f*****g stupid... now... theres a few options...

great changes to warriors... gotta change that taunt back though... or find a happy medium....

10 sec refresh on taunt? what the hell are you talking about?

Or do you mean the area taunt?

Either way, yeah they got nerfed a bit but they still kick ass. Im 1 level away from getting berserker stance so I can check that out.

Im not sure I like what the new patch did for warriors, it basically made it so every warrior needs to become a shield tank (lowered armor ac + increased shield ac + they removed pummel) so basically I don't see why anyone would choose to be anything but that.

I concur, Mortal Strike nerf was long over due. But I really think they should have left it at 20 Rage, and increased the Cooldown to 9 or 12 seconds. This still leaves us with Other options and abilities to use in combat. Now they changed it to 30 rage, this inevitably increases the cooldown use 1 way or the other. Removed Inner Rage, making us rely on Blood Rage for any rage build up. The problem with having Mortal Strike at 30 rage is that it limits our Choices in combat. Instead of being able to do Motral Strike, Rend/Thunder Clap/Demoralize Shout or whichever ability you want. Now we have Just enough rage to do MS Only. This is the problem.

when servers came up after patch i logged in my 13 warriors, they made changes to taunt making it give alot more threat, but also have a cool down... and when i moused over the ability it said 10 second cooldown... i didnt have AE taunt yet =P so i wasent mistaken...

i heard alot of warriors saying they didnt even have taunt anymore... maybe it was some f****d up bug.. havent logged back in yet to check again...

Yeah it was changed, I hadn't logged in yet to the new patch before you posted this.

I had to buy a bunch of skills that were changed back from the trainer.

the new skill they got (can't think of its name for the life of me) is like mortal strike 2 without a reduction in the amount you can heal for. It does too much Fing damage even though it can only be used if someone is under 20% in health. I hope they tone it down for PvP or it's pretty much an insta kill once a warrior gets someone to 20% hp.

Too bad a warrior will never get anyone below 20% hp thanks to them removing pummel.

Oh the taunt nerf was really nice too, I never liked being able to hold agro anyways.

execute costs like 20 rage... does 600 dmg + 15 dmg per additional rage point (thus emptying your rage bar completlly) it also can miss... and when it does.. STILL empties rage bar....

the screen shots you have seen with this doing to much dmg was on a very low ac mob and a critical strike from way back with max rage =P

(1800 dmg with max rage... way over kill for someone 20% or less hps...)

its not over powered... just helping to balance out mortal strike nerf... which i dont feel is neccessary since it was over powered =P but... i dont know if i will be using execute to much... losing all yer rage when somone has 20% health, big risk if ya miss, and in group pvp... like... only on the last man standing cause.. you gotta have rage for the next target =P

sure.. it does shitloads of dmg... but... the only people this will really effect is paladins and warriors... they are the only ones with enough hps to make the massive dmg useful.... to anyone else it might as well be a mortal strike that dumps rage hit or miss =P

and with paladins getting something like 8k hps at 60 now... 2 invulns.. heals castable while invuln... they deserve to be exe f*****g cuted when dropped to 20% or less =P
