What do you guys think? How about us starting a Warhammer Online wiki of our own? I know WAR is represented well enough on a number of other sites, but that's just not the same thing, there you can never have first hand info like that which you get on commmunity sites, with everybody editing the articles and contributing and sharing information? What do you say?

I say you're both too late and too early.
Too early because the game is not out yet, and too late because there's already a number of wiki initiatives. For example, waronlinewiki.com.
