Or not? I'm not really sure I'm getting all this right, the info is kind of mixed up on the issue. The thing is, I don't really understand how they can make instanced RvR, or at least how they can do it without losing the one thing that RvR was about in the first place? Are there other games that already have instanced RvR?

None that I know of. RvR play isn't all that popular in MMOs, mostly due to group finding and technical issues.
But you're right, WAR will have RvR instances, and yes, that will suck some major ass. RvR is generally associated with open play and open-ended mission goals, but instances deny this. Shrug. We'll see.
