I just realized this. My friend kept telling me they're making it like that, and I was all like no way, but he sent me the links, and… wow. Having a game 100% based around PvP and RvR play, but then making the PvP all carebeary and nice and supposedly "balanced" is just mind-boggling. They're killing a potentially great game in conception!!!!

If you took the time to search the official boards before cross posting over here, you'd soon realize how often the pointless topics dealing with "the loot issue" like this one crop up, and how quickly they are put down. The long and short of it is, full PvP looting is yet to be implemented adequately in a MMO. Doing it poorly would break any game, WAR included.
