The choice of only six races seems a bit poor to me but I suppose they will be adding more playable races in the future. I hope that there are more than six NPC races in the game from the start however. Does anyone know anything about this? Which other races will we be able to see in the game?

I’ve read it in an interview by some of the developers and the answer to both your questions is yes. They said they will be adding other PC races in the future and they also said there will be more NPC races. But they didn’t mention anything more so it’s still a secret like most of the other important things about this game.
