Warhammer Online Item durability

Should items in WAR lose durability over time? Should they lose it in PvE games only, or both in PvP and PvE? Or should they lose it only in PvP (a crazy option IMO, but what the hell)?
I was going to make a poll, but it didn't work out, could be I did something wrong…

I don't know, really … I understand all the reasons pro and con, but I just don't like how item degradation works, never have, never will. It just seems somehow fake and unrealistic that you would have to go to shop every now and then, pay $$$, and get it back brand new.
