I’m new to Warhammer and MMO games generally. I’ve noticed that the thing most people here are talking about are city raids. I am not sure how exactly do they work. For example, I don’t think I quite understand what ‘instanced’ means. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks a lot in advance!

It’s nice to hear some reasonable question from a noob and not something like: what’s the best race, class etc. Still, this question has already been answered for a few times so I’ll just point you into one of the right directions: http://www.warhammeralliance.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9894&highlight=city+raids .
