How do Warcraft and 56K connection sound when they are mentioned together in because my game crashes when connection stutters? I have seen the game, and I want to play it so badly. It is very sad that I only have dial-up connection, without any possibility to upgrade it to any form of broadband. Must this game work on this slow dial up connection? It would kill me if it were not possible.

As for any other MMO game, it is the best to have any kind of broadband connection if you wish to play Warcraft. It is very sad for you not to be able to have faster connection, and because you are stuck on ancient dial-up and 56K. Theoretically, this game should run on dial-up, but it would be very bad experience and that is why your game stutters. MMO need fast connection to swap pieces of information with server. This is done many times every second and minute. On the slow connection, the game would be very nutty, and it would be very choppy. It is better not to play it on dial-up. Wait for the better times, when you will be able to have broadband.

I have Dsl modem but If I get any type of ingame lag for a length of time I usually DC and have to log back in.

I'm on RoadRunner and maybe once a month I will lose connection.

i used to play on aol dial up.
dont enter any major cities...
