I know that some people wouldn't really care, but I wanted to share some pics of the work I've been doing at my humble abode, I haven't been posting here for very much for the past couple of weeks because of this. It's like a real-life Trading Spaces only I didn't trade any spaces with anyone, I didn't have any high-paid designers to lead the work, I did it all myself, I paid for it, and it wasn't on TV... other than that, it's just like it ! Very Happy

I can still dig it.

There's a stark difference between someone throwing Ikea all over the place and pretending it's high class and creative, and what you've done. I see that a lot of time went into both choosing and applying everything in there - time is money and that room looks pretty rich.

Sometimes, foresight is not something that comes to me easily.. I'm not sure why I thought that a beaded curtain would go over well in this household....

nice job.. and glad he prevailed on the mirror placement.. the mirrors were the first thing that caught my eye.. and the red. I am with you on the tile.. would look good with black (slate, but expensive) with white grout. Putting the microwave under the papertowels would kill your workingspace by the fridge I think. I have 3 cats too, and can relate on the beads. There are random placed stones on my computer room shelf that were a experiment... the youngest cat has a heyday with things, I figured if they weren't f****d with by the end of the week they stay. I learned by my lil girlie's dollhouse how much fun cats have with anything little. You guys did a great job. You need a lil more Stainless steel, mebbe a few small touches.

Good Job sir!

Kick ass job bro. I think it would look even better if you stain the cabinets to a darker color. It won't cost much, not more than $100. Could do it as your next project in the future hehe.
