warhammer was making mistakes in its release last september that wow was making four years prior.
the bar is simply set too high to allow for that level of quality.
that being said, warhammer does have some innovations that i would like to see incorporated into future mmos.
things like public quests and gaining experience through pvp are both good, as well as the concept of another leveling system (renown ranks) running parallel to the main system of ranking up.

I joined WAR at launch with 2 friends, one was a WWO addict and the other 2 of us can't stand WOW.
All 3 of us really thought WAR was better the first few days, but then we realized the actual world PVP was non-existent and everyone only ran instanced PVP, so we started to play less and less.
The PVE in WAR is not even close to as good as WOW, since there are no dungeons to compare to the great dungeons WOW has.
WAR does have funner combat to me, a cooler looking world(even if they are similar), I liked a few things in WAR, but overall it was a huge disappointment.
My one friend is of course back in WOW, the other 2 of us continue looking for a game worth the sub fee.

There is no arguement that WoW is a more solid game. Its got a history and a high player base. That doesn't always make it a better game.
Like others have said, PvP in WoW isnt what a lot of us want for pvp. WAR has a better PvP concept, but after a premature launch and bug issues, alot of players that thought WAR was the new thing moved back to WoW.
To me WAR is the better game, only issue is having to pick the right server and be on when the action is happening.
