Well if you look at it in a couple ways-
if he has the faction to stroll down there that faction took time to accumulate.
Then its for someone else--and if its multiple parties they have to not feel like they completely wasted their time.
Then there is the leet single pull the king tactic that took years and years to master <chuckles>
100K for a mob really in retrospect isn't that much though I am pretty sure you could find someone with a bot army from hell that will do it for 50 to 75K <shrug> though from the sound of it Bagel will go mount that sorry SoB right now so <shrug> wait and hope someone will do it for less... or go get it pronto--its all going to ammount to the same pain in the ass question of how bad do YOU really WANT your epic....

Give me a rogue (with sos and escape or nonkos chardok faction) and a decent geared warrior, and I'll kill him out of sheer boredom!
I can pull royals to zone in (except prince due to gay stun proc), just need a rogue to open the doors.
