with the 3v3 tourney and the sk 5s done, do you think blizz would remove RNG to make wow a esport?

Quite possible but they would need to make the game more e-sport friendly to be honest. As it is right now, WoW doesn't have a huge potential as e-sport due to the lack of information given to those who aren't part of the game. Just those who play the game and have greater knowledge of it can truely see the difference in skill of the teams playing at that time. Therefore you want to be as friendly as possible toward the general public in order to have an even greater impact in it and eventually making the game e-sport capable to an even higher degree.

WoW has very good esport potential, games can be very exciting to watch, but yea, some things have to be explained before-hand, like workings of certain classes, team makeups, etc.

IMO it can't become a true esport without being more balanced in 2v2. I know that Blizzard has stated multiple times that they don't balance around 2v2, it's not real PvP, etc, but 5v5 is difficult for the layman to follow.
If you look at the tournaments that have gone on for spectators, they've overwhelmingly been 2v2 and 3v3.

I agree, but imo even 3v3 needs balancing as some classes (like druids) have it really easy finding efficient setups, while others (shamans/pallys for example) have a really harder time doing that, and by efficient i mean capable of fighting for top ranks.

I don't think Sham/Pal has too much trouble in 3s. I played a 3v3 comp of Resto Shaman/Holy Paladin/Arms Warrior in 3s, and I know Resto Shaman/Ret Paladin/Arms Warrior is viable, I imagine you could work something out swapping someone for a Rogue or Mage too.
Some specs definitely need work, Enhancement Shamans aren't so hot in any bracket, and Druids are still (IMO) too strong in 3s.

I agree with those saying that classes need balancing. Thats the hardest thing about making WoW an e-sport. They need to make classes closer to balanced 1v1 where everyone can hold their own against one another, like fps games that are e-sports, which is a very hard task.
