I get to the part were you select your age group and click next, and then i get PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED>>><!@!@$@#

haha, actually i am doing this for a friend.
He really likes warcraft and if he doesn't get beta hes gonna be bumed out...so i told him i would sign up and if i get it i would give him my stuff for it.

From what I underastand there are still common zones so you still can steamroll and be a p***k to the common player base at will.
But
Say you want a Vox type encounter, you can have it when you want it.
My details aren't that clear but when I spoke to the devs at E3 the last 2 years this seemed like the direction they were going.
The arean would still be the arena in eq speak but zone like Mistmore are what you want them to be.

Zone instancing is a good idea if you want to blow through the game really quick. Now is that something you're looking for? Perhaps. But I know I wouldn't be around more than 6 months if I could just whip up encounters anytime I want. It would get really mundane and trivial.
