IGG just announced that Voyage Century Online will become officially available on April 8. Take note that the game is for free so the developer and the publisher should be commend for putting so much effort into it. Likewise, IGG would like to thank everyone who helped during the painstakingly long five months of testing,
"We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the thousands of dedicated testers who helped us day in and day out to make VCO what it is meant to be: a fun game. Your aid was invaluable over these past days - the game wouldn't be where it is now without you."
Voyage Century Online has indeed evolved these past few months but the basic premise remains the same: as a player, you sail the open seas either as an explorer or as a pirate. As an explorer, players can become rich by travelling around the world and discovering pieces of a treasure map in the process.
Pirates, on the other hand, concern themselves with looting and plundering gold from other players.
All onboard! On the April 8.
