Firstly my computer is kick a*s, it's got an amd 9950 black edition quad-core cpu, 4gigs of ballistix ram 1066mhz, a sweet nvidia 9800gt gfx card and a gigabyte ma78gm-s2h mobo.
However, recently the damn thing has started randomly crashing (in true windows BSOD style) when playing games. The first few times it happened i thought nothing of it but its started happening within 15mins of starting any graphically intensive game, i should also mention that's its almost certainly not a overheating issue, i keep 3 fans on the cpu (the main one on top and then two either side) and the thing stays damn cool and the custom heatsink for my gfx card (that i ripped off an old 939 cpu) keeps it at 49-54 degrees.
The error messages that the BSOD gives are SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and occasionally IRQ_NOT_OR_LESS_EQUAL or something like that. Also the computer stays completely stable when not running games.
So, anyone have any ideas what causing this?
