I was hoping anybody here shared the same problem and found a solution to this.
I bought Vista Ultimate a few days ago..
done several updates.. including dreamscene and other stuff.
not sure what sort of update i did a couple of days ago, or what program i installed, but ever since 2 days ago, my IE is constantly freezing and forcing me to restart IE. I'm not using it anymore..
at first i thought it was related to the divx plugin, where you can watch livestream movies such at at joox and other sites, but now it simply freezes randomly on different variety of sites.
I could dy a system restore but I rather not.
ATM i'm using FireFox which always been my best online browser, but it bugs me as hell not to be able to use my IE that came with Vista.
any sugestions?
thanks,
Natalie.

Why not use firefox? Its much more stable than IE and has a lot better features. You can import your favorites from ie into mozzila as well.

try going into control panel, and internet options, and on the advanced tab, click the reset button on the bottom right. This will reset back to factory settings. give that a whirl and lemme know what happens

I am using firefox atm, it's not the issue of what's better for me.
It's more of concept for me. if microsoftcrap sell something, i prefer to know that i got my feedback for the money and that everything works fine.
I just reset the settings back to the original, seems it works alright now.
Thank you Nathan
