I need Virus help please, McAfee is f*****g worthless, I dont remember my login or password and I refuse to pay 40 f*****g dollars to call those b*****s, when their virus program doesn't even detect the god damned virus on my machine.
Here is the email I got back from my Earthlink mailserver:

How can I get this shit off my computer?

Lots of virus emails these days use people's address book to make it look like other people have sent the message so even if you don't have the virus then the auto-reply will be sent to you because someone with you on their contact list got the virus. Do a google search for W32/Netsky.P@mm... shit I even did one for you, http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.netsky.p@mm!enc.html

ok thanks I guess...
I am a computer idiot, so I need more detailed help if you don't mind. I ran McAfee scan, and their online scan, and neither of those detected a single virus on my computer. I have received that email from Earthlink about the virus twice.
Does this mean that hte virus is on someone else's computer and is using my email address, or that McAfee really sucks and just can't detect this virus?
Thank you in advance, and pretend you are explaining what to do to your 90 year old great grandfather, then maybe I will understand.

most likely you are fine, but someone who has your email addy is fukt. it's emailing out as you. someone who knows you and also knows someone in canada. email that person that it got sent back from and find out who the common person is if ya get bored. otherwise, yer all set.

if someone tells you theres a rock on your desk, but you dont see it, then you run one highly advance piece of rock searching software and it doesnt see it, and then you run other highly advanced rock searches and then look again, and then have your friends mom look and still no one sees it, the obvious answer would be that the first guy who told you there was a rock was full of shit and is laughing at you really hard somewhere... maybe in your closest... no dont see him in there? Trust me he is there just look harder.
