I have this virus on my computer
Event: Virus Found!
Virus name: Trojan.Logger
File: C:\WINDOWS\system32\d2maphack.dll
Location: C:\WINDOWS\system32
Action taken: Clean failed : Quarantine failed : Access denied
Date found: Sunday, August 31, 2003 9:56:13 AM
my friend played d2 on my comp this summer and had some maphack program which apparently is a trojan. My virus program(Symantec Antiviirus corporate edition can clean it. Any ideas?

gives a pretty good explanation for sub7 removal... good luck.
Think that trojan came from maphack 4.4 actually... s****y trojan... your passwords are pretty much all logged... also can remotely control your computer and perform denial of service attacks, etc.

Just thought about it. Might be able to remove it with the virus scanner if you end the process first. It won't show up as in the taskbar, but will show up in the process manager. not sure what it would be called, but give that a shot..

ok heres what you need to do...
take a s***w driver, open up your computer case, open up the power supply, be sure to touch it lots with the s***w driver.
that should solve all your problems
