Hi! I just read on the net that some games in future will be in virtual realty, with something called OpenGL. That's sounds so science fiction, I just what to know a little bit more about this topic. Can you tell me what virtual reality is exactly, what is "OpenGL" and is there some Virtual Reality game on the market?

Hi there! Virtual reality is an artificial environment and can be experienced through human senses. At this point we did not develop a fully working world known game as final product. There is althou, some games that are half way there. For example, company Brontes Processing made five different games fore webcam. You just have to plug you webcam to computer, start the game and play as one of the players in the game. For example game "WebCam Cyclops Play" doesnt have controls on mouse or keyboard, you control the game with you hands! The future of chat is also virtual. There is a "Outerworlds" system that is described as 3d chat in virtual reality world. OpenGL stand for Open Graphics Library, a specification defining a cross-language cross-platform API for writing applications that produce 3D computer graphics. OpenGL is used in 3d games for years and can be used in virtual reality gaming.
