Video Recording Software for Hauppauge WINTV PVR 250?

I am using the stuff it came with, but it keeps recording in some odd s****y codec that makes the video look absolutely terrible / wont open in adobe premiere correctly.

I've downloaded a bunch of codecs to try to fix it but it always either doesnt open in premiere, and or looks absolutely s****y

is there another recording program that will let me record uncompressed video with my card?

i have dr. divx but when i select to record from my card it comes up with an error ..

i really need to be able to get some sort of uncompressed video recording using my card so i can edit good looking shit off my xbox in premiere for my video project

right now all ive accomplished is to get a semi transparent mario to run around apocalyptic digital distortion mario world jumping on half pixellated goombas
