for the most part you are right zab, but i did get a hell of a deal on my computer from bestbuy around thanksgiving time. for 300 bucks (699 before rebate) i got a 2.1 ghz 512 ddr, 15 inch flatpanel monitor, geforce 4 mx440 (not great but better than most). For 300 bucks that isnt too bad, im slowly upgrading what needs to be, just bought my 9800 pro 256 card and going to be adding memory soon also, but it is a pretty nice computer for the cost

Agreed when the person knows what to look for. A clone will always be cheaper and more performant.
For the general population however, brand names are much better unless the person has access to someone to fix the computer when needed. Dealing with Dell for a warranty is much easier than dealing with a local computer store.
But usually, gamers know what they want with a computer, therefore they get clones.

I'm losing the battle in the ebay warzone. Moving on to plan b... I take my computer into Best Buy and bust out my bad mamajama moves until either they fix it, someone gets hurt, or I am drug out kicking and flailing by Best Buy security.

as for your computer problem, just b***h alot at bestbuy and make them upgrade you. That worked for my old assistant manager lol.
