Verse 9 : 11
For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.
The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of
Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair, still
more
rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and
there
was peace.

what coincidence though.
Taken from the link, Snopes declares it fake, and posts the real passage in 3 different english translations:

Verse 9:11 of the Qur'an is about repentance and reads as follows in three different English translations:

But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity, they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand.

But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then are they your brethren in religion. We detail Our revelations for a people who have knowledge.

But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

For f**k's sake Spit, what makes a book legitimate. You can only really argue whether it was written by Mohhamed or not. Whether Mohhamed was really a prophet is a question of faith, and such has nothing to do with science. Science can only test empirical data. And if you didn't believe in God, no act that was/is done would ever prove the existince of God. Even the revival of a person 500 years dead doesn't prove there is a God from a scientific standpoint. In fact there is NOTHING that would prove OR disprove it. Even if the planet stopped rotating and reversed directions, what would that really prove?

What's funny about that supposed passage is, that if you believe that is is talking about 9/11. Then why the hell are you not a muslim. I mean you can't believe it's talking about 9/11 and not be a muslim. Either it is, and the book is pure truth, or it isn't and that passage is meaningless, but for pete's sake pick either - or, not both.
