Hello! I just started playing Eve Online and I’m still coping with the basics so I was just wondering if anyone here would be willing to give me some beginners advice – some hints that would make it a bit easier for me.

This skill systems seems a bit hard especially for someone who is really used to xp points and such.

I totally sympathize. Eve is the first game I played that didn’t have the usual experience points system and it baffled me in the beginning. I will just give you one simple advice when it comes to skills: since learning a new skill often requires the completion of some prerequisite skill, you need to keep a good track of what you need to do and in which order you need to do it. by The in-game Notepad might be of great use with that. You can find it on the left side of the tool bar and you can also use it to make all other kind of notes. I hope that this helps you at least a bit. I’m very busy these days but if I get some free time I’ll write you some more hints.
