How do drops work in Lineage? I hear things like (I haven't played yet, just read about it) I hear things like the game is making the choices on what kind of items to drop based on what class you're playing, and chooses what's fitting for you. Does that makes sense, or did I misunderstand something?

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but if I understand you correctly you're suggesting that in L2 you're getting only those drops that can be optimally used by your class? That makes very little sense, and I've never heard of anything like that before. Odds are you've misinterpreted something.
