Looks like a minority agree with the loser in the comic.

Is it just me, or has the anti-Bush rhetoric become completely nonsensical. Everything is "Hitler this" or "Baby murderer that". Peoples' memories have apparently been erased by their hatred. Kerry is trailing Bush, and this is the best he will do in the polls. Bush hasn't even started his campaign yet. The election is pretty much already decided. I'll give you a hint who wins.

It is anti white.

And pro reparations. The writer and all the readers can take a leaky boat back to the land of machetes, aids, IQs in single digits and parasitic worms.

All democrats are scum.

This is what makes the comics in the newspaper nowadays? That wasn't even funny, or relevent. A man losing his job, with no healthcare, and can't afford gas is all Bush's fault? I must have missed the part where the president made outsourcing jobs mandatory, health insurance is a free birthright, and raised gas prices all on his own. (Gore would have done more to raise gas prices than anyone, wtf is this lib b*****n about? Can you say, Kyoto Protocol?)

Then again, I really shouldn't expect anything else from a liberal. Always trying to make it seem like no one is responsible for themselves, everything should be handed to them, it's someone else's job to look out for me, blah blah blah

The Kyoto Protocol has to do with CO2 emissions, not as much oil- and considering that the US is basically the largest emitter of CO2 in the world, it would at least cause some progress in regards to enviornmental issues... though i do have to disagree with some of the terms, its too harsh on the USA compared to a country like Russia. The difference if we signed it would be that we'd have to buy extra points from Russia (since they had so much crap in their air during the Soviet Union), and we'd have to clean up our air at the same time- which we should be doing anyway. It wouldnt necessarily raise gas prices as much as punish us for our emission levels... I still think that it should have been negotiated rather than turned down, maybe have the developed countries follow the same regulations as the developing countries until a certain date.

We did sign the Kyoto treaty. Prez Clinton signed it before he left office, but he never sent it to congress for ratification (it sat on his desk literally for a month before he left office), and basically stated it was unfair to the USA. GWB just finished out that policy and never sent it in for ratification either. But of course GWB gets the blame!

oops, i did say signed, i meant if we had ratified it.. and it isnt necessarily GWB's fault, because it IS unfair to the USA, though i dont think it should have been thrown out so quickly without negotiating it through. Its a good idea, it just needs to be made a bit more fair, 1990 is a terrible date to go by for some countries (like us) and a great one for countries like Russia.. which is incredibly unbalenced.. anyway.. time for class, but i really like the new forum!
