Katanas are decent bikes if you are not after a supersport (GSXR etc..), a lot more comfortable to ride and decent performance. My last bike was a Katana 600, out the door price was $5250 for an '03 so I wouldn't pay too much higher for that used 750. I ended up selling my Kat and bought an '03 GSXR600 which is a lot more fun power wise, but a lot more uncomfortable.

Then decelerate really really fast. Like against a wall or a lightpost.

And make sure you paint flames on the side, it's only cool with flames on the side.

IMHO I Hate Katana/Ninja's. If you had your choice around the same price I would go with Honda F3 or F4i, slightly better "oomf" and a lighter bike.

If you are wanting to get a full on crotch-rocket race inspired bike then stick to the R6, CBR 600, F3/F4i, GSXR 600/750.

For full on extension of your penis - get a GSXR 1000, R1, CBR 1000/954.

These are just personal opinions though, you gotta stick with what feels right between your legs.. I personally hate Katana's and Ninja's =) I have ridden about every sport bike made (or close to it heheh) and those top my never-buy list.

I took Friday off to take my motorcycle test. I failed the written test twice. My test was totally rigged. The questions on my test were not in the little rules of the road book thing. Bastards.

Oh well, I'll just keep riding illegally! That's more fun anyway.

For $30, you can ride b***h on mine and pay for like 20 tanks of gas! We could go to Mexico and back. Remember: Lean with me and keep your feet on the pegs at stoplights.

I don't like ninjas very much. They're better than no bike at all, but the tanks and seats just look tacky to me.

I'm still really partial to my first bike: Yamaha Seca II. Very Happy Here in 3 or 4 years I may get another bike. Would have to move to a sunnier state, though. WV is pure chaos. Snow at 6am. 75 degree beauty at noon. Tsunami at 5:01pm.

Hmm good point. Neutral My cheap 600cc cost an extra 10% of its total cost per year to keep it running. Not counting tires.
