Not true. UNC us a huge basketball school. He is from the area, there is nothing wrong with rooting and supporting for the home team. Tons of people root for school that they never attended or have even been to for that matter.

In North Carolina College Bball is more popular then the NBA everyone roots for there favorite college. Mine happens to be UNC I got baby pics of me in a UNC jump suit.
