UFC 49: COUTURE VS. BELFORT 3
Fight Card:
MAIN EVENT -
________________________________
Vitor Belfort (12-3-0, Current Lightheavyweight Champ)
VS.
Randy Couture (12-6-0)
In their first fight, Belfort was considered to be one of the top fighters around, being undefeated and pretty much destroying all the top competition around soundly. Randy came in, much older and handled him like it was his job (which, coincidentally it is!) In their rematch, a freak punch (The first thrown) caught Couture in the eye and cut it, causing the ref to stop the match. Couture had to have surgery asap, otherwise risking his sight in that eye. My pick: Couture. Much older, but pretty solid. I believe he will take it to the ground and own Belfort via ground n pound.
Undercard -
________________________________
Chuck Liddell (13-3-0)
VS.
Vernon "Tiger" White (11-6-0)
Chuck coming off a big win over Tito Ortiz at UFC 47 is the #1 contender for the winner of Belfort Vs. Couture. White, who has never been really impressive, is going to get his ass kicked in my opinion via knockout early on.
________________________________
Mike "Tyson" Kyle (7-2-0) Kyle gets no respect from anyone atm, cause he was accused of biting another fighter's chest in his last UFC fight.
VS.
Justin Eilers (8-2-1) Eilers isn't good/popular enough to have a picture.
Well Mike Kyle is a biting dicklicker, and I have never seen the other guy fight, so I don't really care what happens with this. My Pick: Kyle by tit chomp late in the second.
________________________________
Matt Lindland (11-2-0)
VS.
David Terrell (4-1-0)
Matt Lindland has a habit of laying on people to edge out the decision. Terrell, i've never seen fight, but I hope he can avoid the Lindland "Lay and Pray," and create some excitement. My pick: Lindland by aforementioned lay n' pray, my hope: Terrell by knockout or some kickass submission out of nowhere.
_________________________________
Nick Diaz (9-2-0)
VS.
Karo Parisyan (10-3-0)
Both fighters seem versed in the submission game, while Diaz has shown his ability to strike. I give the edge to Diaz, with a possible KO early on if the fight stays standing.
__________________________________
Yves Edwards (19-8-1)
VS.
Josh "The Punk" Thomson (7-0-0)
Well its "Thugjitsu" vs. Plain old American Kickboxing in this one! To tell you the truth i don't give a f**k who wins i just hope they both come in droppin bombs on each other. My pick: Sweet KO.

Too lazy to type anything.

Fedor won the fight. Yes. The whole fight was over in like a minute or 2, I believe. He will win the whole tournament. He is a machine.

First fight: Mike Kyle Vs. Justin Eilers, after some low blow knees from Mike, the match is restarted and Eilers drills Kyle with 2 punches that put him down. Excellent f****n fight.

2nd Fight: Lindland Vs. Terrell. Within 30 seconds, terrell is dropping bombs, then dropping Lindland with a hard left.
3rd Fight: Thomson, Vs. Edwards - Ends with Edwards jump kicking Thomson in the neck as he turns around, finishes with punches. 30 or so seconds into the first round.
