Ive played City of Heroes and I liked it pretty much. Now, Id like to switch to City of Villains but it would be great if there is a free trial period to try it out. Does anyone know how to get it? It also occurred to me that there might be certain benefits for those who played City of Heroes and that I might not have to pay the whole subscription.

There is this usual two-week free trial that you can obtain by visiting their official site and send your application. Theres no need for a credit card number, you just give your email and they send you a serial. There is this trial option for those who played City of Heroes but its nothing special, I think it just enables you to log on the same account, but after this two-week period you have to buy the game if you want to continue playing it. The good thing is that you can use the characters created during the initial trial period. Just to add that subscription is regular $14.99 monthly regardless of the fact that you played their previous game.
