Training skill system in Eve Online

I’m about to open an account on EVE Online but I’m a bit concerned about it. A friend of mine who’s been playing for some time tells me that the skills system in EVE is very complicated and that it’s making him want to quit playing. Does anyone here want to share his experience with me on this subject and perhaps give me some advice about it? Thanks!

Your friend is just not used to such system because it’s different from all the other skill systems in MMORPGs. He’ll get used to it with time. And so will you. Anyway, training is easier than in other systems. But before you start playing be sure to visit these pages and read what they say carefully:
