Man, just kill crawlers in and around Windhurst, a full stack of silk thread nets you 8k at the AH.
Plus, do the quest in Windhurst for the Scroll of Aspir, that nets like 20k at the AH, only way for a BLM or DRK to get it in game.
^^
If you need anymore suggestions, just let me know. ^^

I've done gil quests, the one aspect of the game I cannot stand is running from zone to zone, even with the cool music and scenery it just gets tiresome on my brain with the mentally challenged like run speed characters in the game are given (you have to get off of your choco to talk to an NPC or inspect a ???, that needs to be changed).
Farming is not something I'm too fond of until the day I get a 2nd computer. I know some NM spawns that drop high gil items, but they are also camped by 23423423423 japanese high level players who have timed it so precisely that they log in, kill mob, log out. Actually I take part of that back. I'd farm crawlers if they were plentiful, but they seem really uncommon :p

No its just that there is really nothing worth camping but a few mobs, so it is over camped, even though that not many people camp.

When I got back into the zone both were gone mysteriously.

the ninja drops a piece of shit no drop shield called parana shield. The other one was either a 300k staff/10k glove dropper or a 20k bow/6k boot dropper At least those are the prices on bis and it's HEAVILY camped. I somehow got the boots the other day off the bow mob, then about 10 people showed up out of nowhere :p
