so I like, got bored wiht FFxi pretty quick hehe. What I am looking to do is trade my account for a GoD acct key! That or sell account for the price of the game! The account contains a 26 taru whm on Ifrit server. I really would like to do the trade for GoD, but cash is always good. PM me if ya wanna know more. Thanks~

Yes, I know it sucks...I have played it already and quit it. But, people who haven't played it first hand don't know it sucks as bad as we do.
Which is why saying it sucks when your trying to trade it for something of monetary value is a bad idea.

FFXI how I hate thee let me count the ways!:
1. Can't swing a weapon while moving, although MOBs can do just that.
2. Inventory space sucks BIGTIME
3. Grouping is required, it's very non casual gamer friendly
4. Playonline (nuff said)
5. JAP/NE server mix. They should have really opened new NE servers when they did their NE release. JPN players have such a huge head start on everyone else that it's not even funny. I never saw one NM that wasn't camped and killed the instant it spawned by a JPN player.
6. The level grind: 1-18, do a quest level a sub-job, 19-30 stop leveling again do another quest 1-30 again while keeping your sub-job up to date. The XP grind of doing the same zones over and over again with a s****y XP curve that would make baby Jesus cry really was the final straw.
7. No real dropped loot. I want the ability to equip myself as I level with looted armor and weapons. That's impossible in FFXI, FFS I didn't even get a level 10 Scale armor BP quest in Bastok until I was 30+. Hell the only armor drop I ever saw in the game was a pair of scale legs (level 10 armor) that dropped off a level 20 Quadav. Go figure.
The goods:
1. Nice tradeskill system
2. Cut scenes were a pretty cool addition.

Did you realize that you could stack most things? I never had an inventory problem after I realized crystals could be stacked... The sort button rocks!

Wow! You can sort things?!
Yes, I did know that you can sort items. Even sorting items the whole system just plain sucked. Sorry but when over half of your inventory is taken up by the crap your wearing it's just lame. And the fact that you have to babysit your inventory every time you go hunting sucked even worse. Why the hell the the Japanese put up with no true autostacking in the inventory? How hard would it be to code that if I have 5 firecrystals in my inventory and I loot 3 more that they stack instead of having 4 stacks of fire crystals? 3/1/1/1

true, equipment being in the inventory was kind of lame, the only real problem I had with it was the lack of containers, but oh well, just promotes more management and strategy to your inventory =P

Yes you can  if you >Initiate< combat while moving you will pause a second, but you can move and swing freely while in combat (unlock your camera newb )

This is true =/ But I work with some very casual player ppl who LOVE FFXI.. Sure they are lvl 20 after a few months but they dont care.. The people it p****s off are the ppl like you and me who used to have all the time in the world but now we dont.. But we remember what it was like to live in a MMORPG and be the highest and the best.. But can not be.

I hate mixed servers too.. Now I just use the 'E' tag when LFG and JPN players dont even msg me any more

This wasnt so bad.. We level'd to 30 with our subjobs, did the quest, and we were 30 with our main jobs again within a week.

I dunno about this one. Conquest point items are like "dropped loot" and are really nice. You can buy crafted stuff that is very nice. And like EQ you can hunt Notorius Monsters for really nice peices of loot.
But I will prolly get sick of the game again in a month.. we will see.

hunt in any beastmen zone, they drop weapons and armor. yes, the common ones do. Take davoi for example, zone in area is lizard armor, next area chain.

If I am not mistaken the 1st mobs in Davoi are level 25ish then they jump to level 35ish.
Lizard armor is level 17 armor and Chain is level 24 armor. So, level 17 armor drops off level 25 mobs and level 24 armor drops off level 35 mobs? Sounds balanced to me.
And I used to hunt in Davoi with a group I never once saw armor drop. Not saying it doesn't but it's rare as hell.

Frontiers is going to rock. To bad PvP blows away RvR no matter what they do though. 8o)
I still have yet to get ToA although I have a few 40+ chars now that I have restarted heh. They nerfed ToA today, bigtime so I am happy.
