Trading Missions in Eve Online

I remember reading about courier missions being useful when you want the trade to go more quickly. But now I can't find the place I read it from. Does anyone else know about this? Could you please explain the procedure here? Or maybe post a link to some place where I can read it? Thanks a lot!
I haven't read about it before but your post intrigued me and I've done a thorough research on this topic.
