Radio and cell phone and microwaves are everywhere! Do you think they stop because of a "stupid" box holding them in (the case on the microwave)? Think again . . . have you ever pick up a signal inside your office or school?? I "know" I have.

We shoudl find an alternative source of data transmission. I know from a little studying and my research / work in the medical field that mutation of cells occurs from these sorts of things.

We need another "Uncle Vekril's Language Lesson" about the flagrant misuse of quotation marks.

You're an idiot.

Unfortunately, the world is full of people just like you.

The mind reels. Do they have schools in your country?

Mutation of cells occurs from your body exercising, what you eat, where you walk, etc...

Harmful mutation? Totally different subject. And my basic and least effort reply to ways radiation hurts us in normal life is this:

"If lawyers aren't suing all the corporations over it, chances are there is NO research that backs it up."

However, as a person with multiple degrees in the radiological/nuclear sciences, I'll offer a second answer on whether radio waves can hurt you in your home.

No.

I'm still fascinated with this whole quotes for emphasis thing. And how do you pick what words to quote? Is it completely random? Why emphasize "years"? I could see emphasizing "8 years" to show that 8 years isn't much, or "your" to contrast with "the smartest men 700 years ago", or "school" to indicate that you don't consider what passes for "school" these days as real learning, or even "stuff" for graphical emphasis. But why in the name of all that's rational, would you emphasize just the word "years"? That makes it sound like he's only calling it years, but you think it might be 8 days, or 8 weeks, or 8 months or something.

What speed to radio waves travel at? Im assuming its faster than we can travel atm so if you were to hypothetically travel faster than the waves would you still be able to pick them up but backwards? Maybe this is just a dumb question, you tell me.

It would have been a really good question, 100 years ago. But Einstein beat you to it. Of course it's not really fair; he was born first.

What ever happened to stone tablets as data transfer? Oh yea, people were useing them to club people over the head so they too were considered harmful.

You can't win for looseing.

Actually, if we were really concerned for background radio, gama and other forms of radiation that cause mutation we should black out the sun and be content in our evolutionary process, that would be teh win.

You of all people should know about mutation due to communication devices. I would guess that your ancestors were beaten over the coconut for centuries, with stone tablets. The size and thickness of your skull seems to be the direct result of a mutation towards a massive, dense and very sturdy brain case.

Is that good, or bad? Only time will tell.
