They only agree on legalization for medical reasons..not just because you want to get high.

Yea. I think they should legalize it but have strict rules to go along with it. Just like XANAX, the pill for people with anxiety problems, gets abused like hell but if the cops find just 1 "bar" on you then you go str8 to jail. It tickles me that a pill like xanax can be legalized but weed cannot. Just by taking 2 xanax 2mg pills can make you blackout and not have any memory of what you did when u were on that shit. It's the same danger as being shit faced drunk if not worse..

Weed is legal with strict rules, you get it by your doctor if its needed, like xanax.

but you still get busted for it if your doctor does suggest it.
Although some states allow it now, it is still illegal by Federal law, and I believe we have a couple cases ongoing in California still debating the conflict.
